Kaduna State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Thot
Dogo, who confirmed this to PUNCH
correspondents in Kaduna, said the hospital
authorities alerted the ministry when they
suspected that the man, who is an undergraduate
of ABU, Zaria started showing some signs of Ebola
symptoms like high fever and rashes on his body
after over a week he was admitted at the hospital.
Dogo said the blood sample of the patient has been
taken to a laboratory in Lagos for tests.
According to him, the outcome of the laboratory
result would determine further actions.
He noted that the state government has provided
the hospital management with protective
equipment for its team of medical personnel
attending to the patient.

could be arrested and detained.

Court 1 in Sagamu, allegedly for
"engaging in acts capable of denting the
image" of Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun on
his personal Facebook account.
According to Section 249 (d) of the Criminal Code,
Volume II Laws of Ogun State 2006, Ogunnoiki,
who reportedly criticized Amosun for demolishing
homes without remunerating property owners,
could be arrested and detained.
The Nation Nigeria also reports that the accused,
who is said to be a motorcycle driver, pleaded not
guilty to the two charges served him.

He was granted bail at N400,000, but remains in
custody.
The case was adjourned until December 5th.
