Horror In Borno Community As Boko Haram Kills 40, Razes Homes

Suspected terrorists from the Islamist sect,
Boko Haram, today wreaked havoc on the
inhabitants of Gurmushi village in Marte local
government area of Borno State. The group
killed at least 40 of the villagers and razed
most of the village by setting homes and other
property on fire.
One of the villagers, Ibrahim Saleh, told our
correspondent that he and a few villagers were
lucky to have escaped unhurt. He disclosed
that many of the villagers who survived the
carnage had fled to the neighboring country of
Chad.
